PORCUPINE

A Play by David Paquet
Directed by Leta Tremblay

With
Jean Brassard*, Vincent D’Arbouze, Yeauxlanda Kay*, Jessica Kuhne* & Sofi Lambert

Porcupine, an award-winning whimsical tragedy by David Paquet,
already presented in Canada, Mexico and Europe is finally coming to New York for its US premiere, produced by Les Exportables/Small World Network, under Leta Tremblay’s direction.

Porcupine looks at what we, human beings, strive for, how we cope with loneliness and the risks we take in letting ourselves be vulnerable while aiming to open to others. It illustrates in a surrealistic yet poetical environment the slow and sometimes awkward movements of humans yearning to get close and to love, often ending up injuring each other, causing them to withdraw… only to start again. But can we love without getting stung?
